White Picket Fences

As of this Memorial Day Weekend, "White Picket Fences" has become a fledgling literary journal. Still with the rough edges, but not just one man's effort any more.

Yes, here in the no man's land between Coastal Georgia and Atlanta, we do care about what happens "abroad."

I was elated at the news about Darfur; true, there are only sanctions, but at least it’s a significant milestone for America’s involvement to right the wrongs that have been occurring. Mr. Bush finally does the right thing, only for morality’s sake, not for oil, revenge, or geopolitics. (Well, maybe a little for geopolitics, but hey, it’s a small world).

I'm curious to see who else gives a damn.
